About Us

High Road Management Training was founded to address the critical need for development among middle and upper managers. With the changing demands of their roles, managers are expected to do more and be resourceful in a “do more with less” economy. While companies have focused on developing their front-line staff and executive management, there has been a lack of investment in middle management and those on the upward track, as well as small business owners in need of solid foundations to grow.

This lack of training has resulted in high turnover rates and a knowledge gap in both soft and technical skills. High Road Management Training aims to fill this gap with simple and actionable programs that enable growth at one’s own pace. We believe in an open book style of training and providing the resources needed for success, as we see our clients’ success as our own.

Our focus is on shedding light on the unknown and providing our clients with the confidence and tools to lead effectively without the uncertainty of trial by fire. We offer tried and true training programs and resources that clearly define how to get from point A to Z, regardless of the time available. Our programs are designed to help clients navigate the challenges of management professionally and in a way that bolsters succession planning, company growth, and team support.

As former managers and executives ourselves, we understand the struggle of not knowing what is needed to succeed in a role. Our team has a wealth of experience managing teams across multiple industries and levels, from entry-level management to executives. We have worked with great leaders and not-so-great leaders and have taken what we learned from our first-hand experiences to provide a well-rounded guide to get our clients started or back on track.

Whether you aspire to be a manager, currently hold a managerial position, are starting a business and want to build a strong foundation or are a company seeking to provide the right management training for your managers, you are in the right place with High Road Management Training.

Our Founders

Taryn Eisenman Bolduc

With more than 24 years of experience in the hospitality, amusement, and entertainment industries, my passion is centered around team development and providing managers with the necessary resources to run their departments and small businesses effectively. Though my background primarily focuses on operations, training, and business development, I quickly realized that success as a manager required more than just ensuring my team knew how to perform their daily tasks.

To run a prosperous business, one has to understand how to create schedules, manage budgets and inventory, and keep the company profitable. My success as a leader has always been linked to the success of my team. I believe in the philosophy of “teach a person to fish” and take pride in stepping back or taking a day off, knowing my team can function just as well in my absence.

Throughout my career, I have learned many valuable lessons about management through trial and error. One recurring theme I have encountered is that time is always a factor. As our roles and responsibilities increase, the time we have to develop our management teams shrinks. Furthermore, the pool of staff available for promotion often lacks the necessary skills to develop those below them, leaving upper management to shoulder more of the burden of day-to-day management than they would prefer.

These challenges led Cheryl and I to create High Road, a training and resource platform that empowers managers to effectively run their departments, teams, and small businesses. By providing the essential skills and tools, we aim to give managers the confidence they need to run their teams, knowing that they have the necessary resources and support from a community when needed.

As a seasoned manager and executive, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t just about strategy—it’s about stamina. That’s why my mission today goes beyond performance management and coaching. I’m passionate about helping managers sustain their energy, stay resilient, and lead with clarity through research-backed self-care strategies.

My background includes nearly two decades of experience in public sector operations, including municipal parks and recreation, where I’ve managed complex transitions, built teams from the ground up, and led through challenge and change. I’ve also consulted for organizations navigating growth, change, and uncertainty—always with a practical mindset and a positive attitude.

What many people don’t know is that my journey started with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science. That education planted the seeds for what has now become a major part of my work: empowering leaders to take care of themselves as much as they care for their teams. Through a blend of coaching, neuroscience, wellness education, and simple tools, I’m helping leaders recognize burnout, manage stress, and build habits that serve them and the people they lead.

At High Road Management, we believe there’s no single right way to lead well. Our courses, coaching, and workshops meet you where you are—because your leadership style should reflect your values, your context, and your well-being.

I’m proud of the work we do, and I love doing it alongside good people. Let’s keep growing, together.
